Information and History behind Jack Davis Memorial Toy Run:

This is a toy run to go in conjunction with Battle Ground Lodge #313 annual food drive for needy families in the community.

The ride will start and end at the Merou Grotto on Sunday September 20, 2015.
The registration will start at 8 am with kickstand up promptly at 10:30 am. The donation cost will be $20 per bike (including if you have a rider) or a NEW unwrapped toy (for a girl or boy) of no greater value of $20. A safety release form will need to be signed and a "rider" meeting will take place at 10 am.

History of how this toy run came about:

With times being difficult and money being tough and tight for people;

For several years Battleground Lodge #313 has done a food drive for needy families in the community, which is always delivered on the Sunday before Christmas. Last year when the food was delivered to the homes, there were a couple of homes that didn't have toys for their children and one home that didn't even have a tree.

This is the time of year when kids need to have something to believe in, so helping Santa out is something we can do so that kids can have something to open Christmas morning.
